Tiny Touches to Increase Your
Home’s Curb Appeal
A house’s exterior is its first impression to the world, so by making it look as pleasant as possible, you are bound to attract a more significant number of interested buyers. Here are some tiny touches that can help make a good first impression:
Painting the Front Door
The front door is the first thing buyers will see as they walk into your home. A dull, drab, weathered front door is likely to give them a negative first impression that can be difficult to shake. On the other hand, a bright, vibrant front door can set the tone for the rest of the house.

Featured Testimonial
by Archie & Midge
October 2012 my fiancée and I relocated to Illinois from Oregon. We decided to rent for a year and learn the area before we committed to buying a house. We were referred to Wenzel Properties through a business associate. We let them know at Wenzel Properties exactly what we were looking for and they sent us hundreds of properties through their web site to view. This allowed us with our busy schedules to remotely view properties and really nail down exactly what we were searching for.
Whenever we found something we liked we called or emailed and their team was very efficient in setting us up an appointment to view the property in person. Everyone at Wenzel property was very personable, friendly and knowledgeable in their jobs. They encouraged us to get qualified and offered resources.
Then one day our house, the one we had been searching for magically appeared. It was perfect! We set an appointment, we visited the property and within minutes of being in the house we knew it was the one! Lisa Wenzel acted fast. It was a hot new release on the market and she knew it would go quickly. We made an offer as well as others. She guided through the process and encouraged us through the madness of buying a house in Illinois. Archie and I were clueless to buying a home in this state. She recommended an excellent attorney and Lisa held our hands through it all.
We hit a few road bumps in the closing of the house. Lisa was there to assure us everything was normal and she had no doubt it was going to close. We were impressed with her confidence. Then finally the sun, the moon and stars all aligned and the underwriters finally got all their ducks in a row. The big day was finally here. We all met at the title company and Lisa was there by our side. We signed! We hugged and now the Becerra family lives happily ever after in their beautiful home.
Thank you Wenzel Select Properties. You rock!
